Trustee Meeting
Please note the Newbury Township Board of Trustee Meetings scheduled for June 17th and July 1st meetings have been cancelled.
Public meeting
The Board of Trustees will hold public hearings on a moratorium for shipping container uses in residential districts. The public hearings will be held on: June 3, 2026 at 6:30PM, June 24, 2026 at 6:30PM and July 15, 2026 at 6:30PM. The public is invited to provided comment on the proposed moratorium.

BUDGET HEARING
2027 TAX BUDGET
Two copies of the proposed 2027 Tax Budget for Newbury Township, Geauga County, Ohio will be on file and available for inspection on or after June 12, 2026, at the Newbury Town Hall, 14899 Auburn Road, Newbury, Ohio. These copies will be available from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during normal workdays. Please call ahead or schedule an appointment before coming in. You may contact the Town Hall Administrative Office at 440-564-5997. A Public Hearing on this Tax Budget will be held at the Newbury Fire Station, 11111 Kinsman Rd, Newbury Township at 6:30 p.m. on June 24, 2026.
